A true son of Cromane – Patrick’s life has been stitched right into the heart and soul of this village 🌊
Born and raised here, he started fishing our waters at just 14 years old – a bond with the sea and our fishing heritage that has never broken.
Family means everything to him. Married 44 wonderful years to his lovely wife Jane – Lady Jane! – they’re proud parents to Francis, Aisling, Emmet, Finbar and doting grandparents to Caragh, Fionn, Cathal and Lydia ❤️
Patrick’s heartbeat is Cromane – and he has lived that every single day:
⚓ Cromane GAA since the club reformed in the early 80s – Chairman for 22 years and still active on the Lotto & Pitch Committees
⚓ Former County Board Delegate
⚓ Served on Cromane Community Council
⚓ Rowed with the Cromane Emerald Seine Boat back in the late 70s & 80s
⚓ Always there – lending a hand, giving time, showing up
He is the face of our traditions, the man who gives quietly, and the reason so much in our community keeps going strong.
